Stout 22 Scotty P design explanation
The front features a bold and angry Stout piece, done inna DF1 stylee. On the back, a massive "S" razor wreath. That Old English "S", with the rising end tail, has always been a symbol for Stout. Scott had a wreathed Old English "S" tattooed on his left shin since the inception of Stout. Since Scott's passing, that wreathed "S" has taken on a bittersweet additional meaning. It is the embodiment of Stout and Scott — together, forever. The tail of the Old English "S" wraps around the wreath — a little embrace, filled with love, honor, and respect. The wreath is held together by a tanto style straight razor. This knife style has always been the Stout blade of choice since the beginning. The banner is inscribed with NGMF. Between the tattered hanging ends of the banner: "in aeternum 22", which translates to Forever/Eternally 22. The number 22 was — and is always — Scott's number. He had it on his own custom-made clothes. He wrote it on everything. He tagged with it. 22 is Scott. This design is love, respect, and a dedication to both the legacy of Stout and the foundation at its core — Scotty P.
